| Capital Pride--Come Try Rowing! | Try a new sport for free at the Ottawa Rowing Club (ORC) during Capital Pride! The ORC will be opening its doors for LGBTQ+ members and allies (age 12+) to learn more about the sport and try it out in an inclusive and fun environment. Participants will hear about the history of the rowing club and what programs we offer, and then learn the basic technique on the rowing machine from experienced coaches and athletes. After the land portion, participants can try rowing on the water in big boats alongside experienced athletes. If you have any questions, please email Rebecca at everybodyrows@ottawarowingclub.com.
