Friends and Family Intro to Row-adult continuation This category is for those adults over 20 who have sampled the sport in ocean rowing shells through the friends and family adult program but do not have expertise to continue rowing without masters supervision.  It is meant for Covid times when Learn to Row cannot be held regularly through the summer. Prior registration with Row Canada or Row NS (for liability protection)occurred when the friends and family dues were paid.   This membership allows more times on the water with the regular group rows in a double shell with a master.  To enroll you need to fill in this registration, the club will invoice you.  After you pay then the Row Canada site will be activated and you will receive an email.  This allows you to contact Rowing @lyc.ns.ca to organize more sessions. Usually three rows are on the Friends and family fee, and this continues supervised access to the boats.
This is not intended for experienced rowers who could enroll as a guest rowers for sampling as long as they have the liability from this years Row Canada/ Row NS registration(39$ on our site to register for liability and a fee for the guest row)
If  more learn to row sessions are organized this year, we will discontinue this method of introducing novice rowers to the sport.  The learn to row is superior and more comprehensive.
