Coach 2019
Select this option if you plan to coach rowing athletes during the 2018/2019 fiscal year. The GRC does not charge coaches a fee. If you are not already an active Rowing Canada and Row Ontario member, you will be charged a fee of $45. Please ignore this fee. It will be covered by the GRC.

Experienced Occasional Rower 2019

A non-competitive, non-coached short-term membership, which allows a rower to row at the Guelph Rowing Club for up to 10 rows. The rows are to be taken within one rowing season. The rows are non-refundable and non-transferable. Open to a rower who:  had a full membership at the Guelph Rowing Club within the previous two years, or has a current membership with a rowing club other than Guelph Rowing Club.

Fall High School Learn to Row 2019 This program is an introduction to the sport of rowing for athletes currently enrolled in high school. The program is two weeks long with lesson times Monday to Friday, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guelph Rowing Club boathouse, rain or shine. 190.00 2019-09-01 2019-09-30
High School Rowing on-Water 2019

This program is for high school athletes as an introduction to the sport of rowing and for those returning from previous rowing programs. The program runs from mid-April until the first week in June. The fee includes: coaching, Rowing Canada and Row Ontario memberships, Grand River Conservation Authority park access and use of equipment supplied by the Guelph Rowing Club. Additional costs include uniform as well as fees and costs associated with regattas and travel.

High School Winter Training 2019 This is a winter, indoor training program in preparation for the spring high school on-the-water rowing program. The program runs Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. from mid-January to mid-April when the on-the-water program begins. Training occurs at the Guelph YMCA/YWCA through a combination of Y programs and coach-run programs. Coaches are available during training periods. Registration at the Guelph Y is required (see GRC web site). Parents must attend a compulsory parents information meeting (see GRC website).

Senior Competitive 2019 This competitive rowing program is for U23 (under 23years of age, Sr. B) and Senior (23 years and older, Sr. A) athletes in the Train to compete (T2C) phase of Long term athlete development.  Athletes in this program should have previous rowing experience - racing experience is a definite asset. Training will include two  workouts 6 days/week; 5:00-7:30AM, PM training times TBD. Initial crew selections will be made in early to mid-June. Final crew selection for the RowOntario Championships and the Royal Canadian Henley Regattas will be determined by mid-July. Selections will be based on fitness and ability as determined through, but not restricted to, ergometer testing, on-water technical assessments and "coachability", and seat racing as required.  585.00 2019-04-01 2020-03-31
University (Varsity) Camp 2019 Select this program if you are not  currently a competitive member of the Guelph Rowing Club. Guelph Rowing Club, in conjunction with the University of Guelph, offers a competitive intercollegiate university rowing program. Please contact Dave Leger, Head Coach (rowing@uoguelph.ca), for an information package. Athletes competing for varsity seats should attend Training Camp, August 27 - September 3. Any rower who qualifies to participate at Varsity Camp must make special arrangements with Dave Leger, Head Coach, if they wish to arrive before the beginning of Camp.
