This is a ten-week season for youths 12-19 to learn to row and experience racing! We will start indoors on rowing machines to learn the fundamentals of the rowing stroke and do some training. Once weather permits, we will expand on these skills and row in learner boats at York Lake to learn about teamwork in doubles and quads. We plan to race in two regattas. Extras (not included): York Lake Regional Park entry ($60/season) - carpool is an option Athlete transportation to/from the Saskatoon and Regina regattas Lodging and meals at the regattas Note that the Saskatoon Regatta is at Pike Lake Provincial Park and most athletes will be camping |
