↳	This program is only for those who purchased their punch cards during the 2024-2025 fiscal year and haven't used up all their punches. We recognize that we were slow in getting organized so will extend the use of the cards into the 2025-2026 fiscal year. OARCA will not charge any additional fees, but you will be required to pay the new RCA and PRA fees for the 2025-2026 fiscal unless you have already paid them elsewhere. Please note that all who register for this program will be checked to see if they had registered for a punch card in the 2024-2025 fiscal. A separate 2025-2026 punch is available for those who don't have a current punch card and wish to start coastal rowing after April 1, 2025.

↳	This "Upgrade" is only available to those who have already purchased a Punch Card for 2025-2026 and now want to upgrade to a full membership for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. It is also for those who have used up all of the "punches" on their first card and need a second card. Buying a second card is the equivalent of paying the upgrade to a full membership. The full membership has no restrictions on the number of rows so is the better option.

↳	In support of growing coastal rowing in Canada, this membership provides access to racing events along with voting privileges within OARCA. It does not provide access to OARCA equipment, facilities, programming or any discounts on boat rentals at events. A full OARCA membership gives you access to OARCA boats and equipment for both club rows and independent rows. You also get priority access to events and rentals. Full membership provides you with access to the coastal boats (3 solos, 3 coastal doubles and 2 coastal coxed quads, with oars) stored at the Tulista Coastal Rowing Centre at Tulista Park (Sidney) and launching privileges at the Tulista boat ramp. You also get access to the doubles and solos at Cadboro Bay. OARCA encourages members to be responsible for your own safety and risk assessment. Rowing members are required to complete an orientation that covers launching, landing, basic safety, and equipment care/handling, and how to file a float plan before each row. ↳	OARCA's mission is to promote coastal rowing within Canada. If the sport of coastal rowing interests you and you would like to join an enthusiastic community of like minded rowers, we'd love to add you to our list of members. This program is for those who are interested in being part of the coastal rowing discussion. It is not meant as a rowing program and thus does NOT entitle you row or race for OARCA. It is just for those who want to connect with other coastal rowing enthusiasts. To save you having to pay Rowing Canada Aviron and Rowing BC fees (unless you've already paid them for the 2025-2026 fiscal year), DO NOT pay online. You can send an eTransfer for the $25 fee directly to OARCA's treasurer. Contact Ian at the following email address for more details: oarca.treasurer@gmail.com If you are already a member of another British Columbia rowing club and have paid your RCA and RowingBC fees for 2025-2026, you can go ahead with the online payment.

↳	If you can't commit to a regular program but have taken one of OARCA's Learn to Coastal Row or are an experienced rower and want to row with a coach available, this "drop-in" punch card is for you. The punch card is good for 8 of OARCA's Novice programs coached sessions. It will be your responsibility to check the regular program times and sign-up for the sessions you wish to attend. The link to the sign-up sheet will be sent out to all Novice members at beginning of each program. Cost is $200 + ($55.90 annual RCA & PRA member fees) - Note if you have already paid the member fees for this fiscal year you won't have to pay them again. The punch card expires March 31, 2026.

↳	You've used up your 8 rows from your first Novice Coastal Rowing punch card and would like to continue dropping into Novice sessions. We are delighted you want to stay with us! Sign up for this second card to keep rowing and learning. The registration system doesn't allow a purchase of the same thing a second time within the same fiscal year, hence this separate, second card. As with your first card, this punch card is good for 8 of OARCA's Novice programs coached sessions. It will be your responsibility to check the regular program times and sign-up for the sessions you wish to attend. You'll use the same link as before to sign up for a session. Remember to sign up at least 24 hours in advance. If we don't have at least 3 participants we will cancel the session. ↳	This punch card is for experienced rowers to enjoy exploring our local waters in coastal boats. The punch card is good for 10 rows, and expires at the end of March, 2026. The first punched row must include an orientation session that covers launching, landing, basic safety, and equipment care/handling, and how to file a float plan before each row. (Please contact membership@oarca.ca to arrange an orientation session.) Rowers are expected to assess risks, take responsibility for their own safety, and know how to get help as outlined in the OARCA safety code. There will not be a coach or safety boat on the water. OARCA has 3 solos, 3 coastal doubles and has 2 coastal coxed quads. These boats will be available for general rowing and/or training purposes. There is a sign-out sheet to ensure all crews have access to the boats. Clubs not in the Greater Victoria area may purchase a punch card to be shared by current, active club members. Contact OARCA (membership@oarca.org) prior to purchasing the punch card for more details. Note: Punch cards may NOT be used for regattas.
