| Come Try Rowing | Come Try Rowing at the Cambridge Rowing Club This free event is open to the community and offers an opportunity for visitors to tour the club and experience rowing under the direction of Cambridge Rowing Club coaches. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of rowing on a rowing machine and on the water with instruction and direction from experienced rowers who are focused on providing a safe and fun experience for individuals and families. Club members will be on hand to answer questions and detail the benefits of including rowing in an active lifestyle. This event is open to anyone 12 years and older. Registration requires choosing a time slot, registering with Rowing Canada and completion of the RCA waiver. Please register and complete the waiver for each attendee individually. For attendees under the age of majority, we ask that a legal guardian sign on behalf of the minor. What to wear: tight-fitting clothes (anything baggy or loose may get caught), close-toed shoes, socks, sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses) Optional: Strap or leash for glasses We have small lockers (bring your own lock) available at the boathouse. Please note, the weather and river flow rate will determine if we are able to go out on the water.
